12SMS Privacy & Messaging

Gregorio Diamonds LLC's AWS SMS program covers optional repair-status and pickup updates, customer-requested account verification codes, and notary-requested intake authorization codes. This AWS service and code program does not include marketing. Square and BigCommerce SMS and email communications are described below. The choices, privacy practices, and messaging terms in this section govern these communications.

This section applies to SMS and related email communications and information collected through our website, app, store, or notary intake. The privacy practices and messaging terms in this section apply to these communications, including company news or offers mentioned elsewhere in this Privacy Policy. For this messaging information, this section applies even where another part of this policy refers only to information collected online.

SMS Communications

Our SMS communications include the following service and verification uses:

1. Repair Status & Pickup Updates. Repair-status and pickup texts provide updates about your service. Message frequency varies with service activity.
2. Customer Account Verification Codes. You may request a code by SMS to verify your own customer account-profile phone. Codes are sent only on request.
3. Notary Intake Authorization Codes. A notary may request a code on their own registered mobile phone. A fresh code is required for each intake transaction; the customer's phone does not receive the notary's code. A code proves control of the registered phone. It does not verify or approve a notary commission.

Repair service remains available without SMS. Use the customer portal or contact us for status and pickup support. Contact us for a non-SMS verification or service path.

Verification and authorization codes are used for their intended security purpose. A code does not approve repairs or payments, verify a notary commission, or grant unrelated permissions.

Square & BigCommerce SMS & Email

Gregorio Diamonds may send service, account, and marketing communications by SMS and email through Square, BigCommerce, and their connected messaging services acting on our behalf. Service and account communications include receipts, order information, and support for the purchases or services you request. Marketing communications include company news, offers, and product or service announcements.

Marketing communications are sent with required permission and in accordance with applicable law. You can request changes to your communication preferences or stop marketing messages at any time.

Email Preferences & Unsubscribe

To stop marketing email, use the Unsubscribe link included in our marketing emails or contact us for help with your communication preferences. Service and account emails relating to purchases or services you request may continue.

SMS & Email Privacy

Information & Consent Records

We maintain contact details, relevant permissions, communication preferences, and delivery and security/audit records. Verification records include code requests, expiry, and attempt results. Plaintext codes are not retained in those audit records.

Limited Processing

Mobile numbers, email addresses, and messaging records are processed through AWS for the service and code program, and through Square, BigCommerce, and necessary connected messaging, email, delivery, and support providers for the communications described here. These providers act on our behalf to deliver requested service and account messages or permitted marketing communications, protect access, provide support, and honor opt-outs. Access and processor handling are limited to those duties, with appropriate safeguards; we do not authorize these processors to use your messaging information or consent for their own marketing.

No Marketing Sharing

We do not sell mobile numbers or email addresses, or share mobile information, messaging opt-in information, or consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging contact information and consent are excluded from any general marketing-sharing permission described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy. Necessary processors may handle this information solely on our behalf to provide the requested services or Gregorio Diamonds communications described in this section; this does not permit independent third-party marketing.

Access & Retention

We limit access to SMS and email information and protect stored records. Phone, email, consent, withdrawal, delivery, and security/audit records are retained only as appropriate for documented operational, security, and legal or required recordkeeping needs.

SMS Terms

Frequency, Costs & Delivery

Repair and pickup message frequency varies with service activity. Customer verification and notary authorization codes are sent only on request. Square, BigCommerce, and connected-service marketing message frequency varies with campaign activity. Message and data rates may apply to SMS.

Delivery depends on carrier service and may be delayed or unavailable; delivery is not guaranteed. A text alone does not confirm shop receipt, authorize payment, or replace staff review.

Code Safeguards

Requested verification and authorization codes expire after five minutes, are single-use, and have limited attempts. Each code is bound to its intended phone, purpose, and customer request or notary intake. Authorization for one intake cannot be reused for another transaction. A code does not verify or approve a notary commission.

STOP, START & UNSTOP

Reply STOP to an SMS message to request an opt-out, or follow the opt-out instructions included in the message. You may also contact us for help managing your communication preferences. Opt-out requests are honored as required by applicable law.

To resume texts, follow the resubscription instructions provided by our messaging service. For our AWS service and code SMS program, text START or UNSTOP to its number after STOP. Delivery resumption is handled through the messaging network; requesting a new code in the app does not clear STOP or unblock the number. Contact us for an alternate verification or service path.
